Conservatory Roofs

Our conservatory roofs are created with premium materials for the roofs. Each conservatory and lantern roof is carefully manufactured using innovative techniques, finished to the highest standard.

Benefits can be seen below:

Thermal Performance

Enjoy a comfortable, ambient temperature all year round. Our conservatory roofs are the only tested system to achieve a U-value of 0.18 (England & Wales) and 0.15 (Scotland). With precision engineering, the roofs will retain your heating, stopping it from escaping. Additionally, the roofs prevent an excess of heat in warmer summer months. Benefit from reduced energy bills for the lifespan for the roof.

The tiled conservatory roofs are fabricated with 3 layers of high performance rigid insulation board, totalling 125mm. This results in exceptional thermal performance. As well as this, the structure is made with internal insulated plasterboard, exterior grade plywood and a vapour membrane.

Low Maintenance

Those who are getting a new conservatory roof will have the option of installing self cleaning glass that has been specifically designed to remain clean for a long period of time. The glass works by using a transparent coating on the outside. Once exposed to UV rays, dirt gets broken down and washed away. The more self cleaning glass is exposed to the sun and rain, the cleaner it will become.

Heavy dust and grime that collects externally can be easily removed with soap and water, before using glass cleaner. This also goes for laminated glass or the glass that has Georgian bars in between them. With little physical maintenance needed, homeowners can enjoy the benefits of conservatory roofs.

Versatile Design

Many people look towards getting a replacement of a conservatory roof because it can be used in multiple ways. A conservatory roof can be perfect for growing your favourite indoor plants as mentioned, or it can also be used for working or entertaining guests. A conservatory also allows you to relax in natural light while you enjoy the beautiful sky and your surroundings. These are only some of the reasons why all those homeowners who have a conservatory roof installed refer to it as the best room in the house.

Having a conservatory roof does not mean that you will be exposed to the harsh elements during the hot summer months or the extreme cold during the winter mainly because even glass conservatory roofs are insulated so that they are able to keep the elements outside, while you and your family are able to enjoy the conservatory all year round.
